No matter what job Jangle is assigned to in Santa’s Workshop, his sister Jingle can do it faster and better. Then a letter arrives for Santa at the North Pole, a letter requiring a Top Priority Gift. The trouble is no one–including Jingle–knows how to make it. Will Jangle be able to save the day–and Christmas? A heartwarming new musical from the creators of Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.

The Velveteen Rabbit

by Catherine Gray from Margery William' story

As the Velveteen Rabbit dreams of becoming a real rabbit, the wise old Kin Horse tells him that he will become real "when a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you." The toy rabbit yearns for the day when the little boy who owns him will choose him as his special playmate so that he can become real. Through devotion, love and patience, the Velveteen Rabbit's dreams come true in a way he never thought possible. The Barter Players bring you this beautiful, classic tale about the magic of a child's love.

Classroom Workshops

Classroom workshops may be scheduled independently or following a performance. Workshops involve young people creating theatre from their own life experiences and are adapted to the age level of the students. We show them how they can do it just like us! Also ask about our actor talkback sessions immediately following performances.

Fees are negotiable, but we think you will find that we charge considerably less than other theatres of such professional quality. We strive to be affordable to anyone who desires a Barter Players performance. Further discounts are given for block bookings in your area.
