The Foreigner is now on our short list of the best plays we've seen at Barter over the years. How can anything be that funny??more > — K.N., a patron via Barter's Web site If you need...should....or desire to LOL for 2 hours then The Foreigner is the play for you!!!!! Bravo!!!!more > — L.T., a patron via Facebook Under the direction of Katy Brown, a splendid ensemble provides an unrelentingly funny, farcical two hours...The unflagging energy and precise timing of these Barter actors is exemplary throughout!more > — Gary Aday, Washington County News I saw this play at the Barter years ago and was nearly afraid to go again because I didn't think I would enjoy it as much. No fear; it was still a wonderful, hilariously funny, play and the current cast was just as perfect as the first one had been.more > — M.S., a patron via Barter's Web site Laughed so hard. We loved it. Probably one of the funniest plays we have seen.more > — J.C., a patron via Barter's Web site Quick review: Barter Theatre production of "The Foreigner" was outstanding. Very funny.more > — C.D., a patron via Twitter You might ought to plan on going to see Barter Stage II's "The Foreigner" twice - the second time to catch all the jokes you missed because you and your fellow audience members were laughing so hard the first time around.more > — Robert McKinney, Bristol Herald Courier This show is way too hilarious and a must see for anyone who loves to laugh!!!more > — A.C., a patron via Facebook A Q&A with Director Katy Brown Why have audiences loved The Foreigner? The Foreigner is funny in a very human way.   So much of the humor comes from people’s misunderstanding about one another and their attempts to communicate.  more >
