Barter Theatre Schedule Changes

Barter Theatre will not open its spring season as planned, and is targeting the end of May to launch Barter’s 2020 season. This decision is in response to Governor Northam’s ban on large gatherings, and to ensure the safety of Barter’s staff, volunteers, and patrons. If you wish to exchange your tickets for other shows later in the season, Barter’s exchange policy makes it easy to do. Additionally, you have the option to convert your ticket to a tax-deductible donation to Barter.

Barter Theatre will soon be able to offer The Barter Players production of Peter Pan for On Demand streaming, at this time we are not able to provide any Non-Barter Players shows for streaming.

More information and updates about Barter’s season will be shared via email, website, and social media platforms as it becomes available. Many productions originally planned for spring will likely be rescheduled for later in the year.

The following options are available for those who have already purchased tickets to Barter’s Spring Season. Transferring your ticket to a donation supports Barter Theatre during these uncertain times and we appreciate your consideration.
  • Donate your ticket and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value
  • Exchange your ticket for a future Barter Theatre production
  • Send your contact information to our Patron Services Office to discuss options
  • Choose to access Peter Pan On Demand when it becomes available
