Hoot and Holler, “Y’all Come Eat: Stories of Supper and Salvation”
Tonight’s stories will honor and celebrate our connectedness with food and how some of our greatest stories can happen around the kitchen table.
In order to be considered for a coveted slot, we ask that you submit your story in writing in a private message to Hoot and Holler. We look for courage and conviction, humor and humility, truth and consequences, and a beginning, middle, and end.
A little Vaudeville, a smidge of irreverent rock and roll, a dash of freak show, a heap of hilarity, and a massive infusion of soul, Hoot and Holler will restore faith in the way we, as humans, share and listen to stories.

My first foray into Hoot and Holler was a breathtaking experience. The sometimes visceral, often profane and absolutely funny tales were wonderful. They ran the gamut from sex to religion to love to school daze. A brilliant evening! I want MORE!!!!Bob M.I want more
Two weeks ago I took my (adult) kids to a Moth Story Slam in Asheville. We all agreed that last night's edition of Hoot and Holler was much better. Well done story tellers!Richard W.Well Done!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell my story. I've always felt out of place, shy, and awkward....through this life changing experience I am finding my tribe and could not be happier for it. Forever and ever thank you, thank you for helping me find my voice.K. C. RoanokeThanks!
