Calling all educators!
May 10, 2018
Barter Theatre and Virginia Tech Southwest Center are partnering to offer the region’s educators a unique and worthwhile opportunity: to earn continuing education credit AND attend a Barter Theatre production—all for only $35.
Registered educators will take part in a three hour workshop led by teaching artists from Barter Theatre’sProject REAL. This interactive workshop will focus on the generation gap that can exist between educators and their students. Participants will explore this topic through engaging activities that can then be applied and utilized in their own classroom. Upon completion, each participant will receive three hours of continuing education credit through Virginia Tech.
Following the workshop, each participant will receive a ticket to see the matinee showing ofThe Lemonade Standby Mathew Fowler. This dramatic comedy examines the language barriers that occur between different generations.
