Driving Directions

Coming South on I-81
1. Take Exit 17.
2. Turn right onto Cummings Street.
3. Turn right onto Main St. at the second stoplight.
4. Turn right onto Partington Place just after The Martha Washington for parking in front of Barter’s Smith Theatre.

Coming North on I-81
1. Take Exit 17.
2. Turn left onto Cummings Street.
3. Turn right onto Main St. at the second stoplight.
4. Turn right onto Partington Place just after The Martha Washington for parking in front of Barter’s Smith Theatre.

Parking

Parking is available in Barter Theatre’s lot on Main Street, across from Gilliam Stage and adjacent to Barter’s Smith Theatre. The lot’s entrance is off of Partington Place, just past The Martha Washington Inn and Spa.

Street parking is also available in marked spaces on Main Street and in unmarked spaces on Valley Street, which runs parallel to Main Street and immediately behind Gilliam Stage Theatre.

Motorcoach Parking

There are two loading and unloading zones for Barter Theatre Gilliam Stage. They are both located in front of our theatre. Buses cannot idle for more than 15 minutes in front of the theatre.

To reach Partington Place after unloading passengers, continue down Main Street to the intersection of Cummings Street. Turn right onto Cummings Street, then turn right on Valley Dr until you make a right onto Pecan, then right onto Main St. You’ll then make a left on Partington St where our parking lot is located. There is bus parking available at the top of the lot.

Handicapped Accessible Parking

Handicapped accessible parking is available in front of both theatres on Main Street and in our parking lot.
