In 1968, Johnny Cash married June Carter and became a member of what we consider the First Family of Country Music. Cash was already famous, so what effect did marrying country royalty have on his career? Barter Connects welcomes Rene Rodgers, Head Curator of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, who will lead a discussion on Cash’s place in country music, and how this fabled love story transformed the Man in Black.
