Barter Staff Member Terrance Jackson performs a monologue from Ossie Davis’s Purlie Victorious in honor of #Juneteenth. Juneteenth National Independence Day has become the 12th legal public holiday. A holiday that commemorates the end of slavery, which was a significant moment in history. Barter Theatre is using this day to continue to educate ourselves and connect and serve our local Black communities.
